Vovsoft’s email extraction utility, the aptly named Collect Email, works like this: give it a "Start URL", press the "Start" button and it will crawl the website you selected, automatically extract any email address it finds, and list these emails on its interface. You can then export the list of emails to a TXT file, but only after you register your copy because the Collect Email trial won’t let you use this function.
Collect Email should work just fine with any Windows edition from the now ancient Windows XP up to Windows 10, which is the newest release at the time of writing this. No matter what Windows edition your PC is running, the fact of the matter is that installing Collect Email is a simple, a standard process that will take little of your time and a minimal amount of effort.
From a visual point of view, Collect Email looks a lot like another Vovsoft tool, Broken Link Detector. At the top there’s a "Start URL" box and a "Show Options" checkbox. The main panel lists all the URLs and all the emails the crawling process uncovered. Down at the bottom there are buttons to access the Export function and to open the About menu.
Using Collect Email is as simple as entering a website’s URL into the "Start URL" box and hitting the "Start" button. Once you do that, Collect Email will immediately go to work and start crawling the website you gave it. All the URLs and email addresses that are uncovered by the crawling process will be displayed on Collect Email’s interface so you can easily review them.
The trial version of Collect Email doesn’t let you use the "Exports URLs" and the "Export emails" function. A nag screen will show up every time you launch Collect Email and ask you to register your copy.
Collect Email crawls whatever website you give it and extracts website addresses from that website.
Collect Email should work just fine with any Windows edition. You’ll figure out the interface in no time at all. You can use Collect Email to crawl websites and extract email addresses.
Trial limitations: "Exports URLs" and "Export emails" function is disabled; nag screen.
